POWER LINES RELOCATION

The Relocation of Power Lines involved the relocation of two New England Power Company 115kV - A179/Q169 transmission lines off the Lynn Harbor waterfront in between the General Edwards Bridge and the Lynn Water and Sewer Treatment facility.

The lines were relocated at a point just westerly of the Lynnway near the General Edwards Bridge and the General Electric (GE) property, and proceeding northerly along GE land to the GE gatehouse, then turning easterly across the Lynnway and along Harding Street and then northerly across Garelick Farms and Lynn Water and Sewer properties, and rejoining existing transmission lines on Massachusetts Electric property.

The total length of the transmission line relocation is approximately one mile.  The lines were installed on single pole, double circuit steel structures supported on concrete piers or steel pile foundations.
