The Downtown Decorative Lighting project continues this year along Washington and Essex Streets and a small section of South Common Street.  Street work is beginning in May 2011 and should be complete at the end of Summer 2011.  Total costs for this work will be approximately $650,000.

Six more rooms have memorabilia from the Revolutionary War through the Korean War. The research library has an impressive built-in bookcase, which was designed and built by one of the founding veterans.
