DOWNTOWN PARKING STUDY

 

Lynn's Downtown Parking Study was completed in July 2007.  The purpose of this study was to evaluate certain parking conditions in the Central Business District (CBD) in light of recent zoning changes and the associated growing number of residential condominium and market rate rental units in the CDB. 

Some objectives of the study include providing the CBD with an enhanced and safer night time appearance, facilitate operational functions, such as street cleaning and snow removal, and to evaluate the practicality of restricting “night time – overnight” on-street parking within the CBD.
